We are beyond happy to finally announce the release of the debut one shots from our three flagship titles, “Adastra”, “Dogpile”, and “Snakebite” as well as the compilation anthology which features all three one shots, the “BlackTooth Battalion Volume 1”. All four books will be available on Friday, July 14th, 2023.

We cannot thank those who have supported us up to this point enough. We appreciate everyone that pre-ordered the books through our Kickstarter campaign and we appreciate everyone that brought early copies at con.

BLACKTOOTH BATTALION VOL. 1

From the mind of Omari Malik comes BlackTooth Battalion Volume 1. It is an anthology featuring all three of the debut one shot comics from BlackTooth Publishing’s flagship titles.

ADASTRA

Growing up, you always hear that you have the power to be whatever you want. This couldn’t be any truer for 15-year-old Adaysia Mitchell, who has the power to shapeshift. Although Adaysia can physically become anyone or anything she desires, she is still struggling to transform into who she is as a person. “Adastra” is a story following teenage shapeshifter Adaysia’s journey to find the courage to be herself all while saving the world.

Adastra is for fans of teen dramas, makeup tutorials, and being a city girl.

DOGPILE

At only 10 years old, a tragic “accident” caused DaQuan Raké to lose everything. Powerless and alone, a young DaQuan sought out a new family and strength. While he ultimately found power within himself, his new family was not what one would expect. His new family was a group of seven dogs. DaQuan, now an adult, is returning home with his dogs to confront the past that he’s been running away from. “Dogpile” is a manga following the adventures of DaQuan Raké and his seven dogs as they try to prevent a series of mysterious “accidents” from happening.

Dogpile is for fans of action, underdog stories, and DMX.

SNAKEBITE

Have you ever felt like you bit off more than you could chew? Malik Onini, or "Oh" as he likes to be called, can’t shake this feeling since making the decision to change. Shortly after his release from juvenile detention, Oh’s friends convinced him to get new tattoos to commemorate his life going in a new direction. To his surprise, these new tattoos weren’t normal tattoos at all—they gave Oh superpowers. “Snakebite” is a story following a young man as he decides if he is going to use his newfound powers for good or to continue to do bad.

Snakebite for fans of drill music, anti-heroes, and rebellious teenagers.
